The EC Griffith Cup is one of Australia’s oldest and most prestigious powerboat races, held annually (currently at Yarrawonga on Lake Mulwala). Known for it’s high speed competition, it commemorates EC Griffith, a pioneer of Australian motorsport, and attracts top racers competing in a variety of powerboat classes.

The EC Griffith Cup is one of the oldest perpetual tropies in global motorsport, with a legacy that spans over a centurey, honoring both the tradition and innovation for the sport.

The EC Griffith Cup has been contested since 1910

A Bronze E. C. Griffith Cup Unlimited Racing Commemoration Medallion from, R. (Ron) Simpson PTY LTD Melbourne (Ringwood). Features winners from 1910 to 1977. These were also issued in Silver and some went over to USA when the Boat ‘Solo’ competed overseas.
